WATCH: 7-Year-Old Steals the Show as She Fights Through Tears After Winning Critics’ Choice Award

A 7-year-old actress stole the show at the Critics’ Choice Awards Thursday.

Brooklynn Prince cried tears of joy after she was named the Best Young Performer for her role in “The Florida Project.”

Brooklynn stopped to pose with fellow nominee Jacob Tremblay, the “Room” star who was nominated this year for his role in “Wonder.”

“All the nominees are great and we should all go out and get ice cream after this,” she said after her dad helped her up on the stage.

“All my voters… you guys are so awesome, thank you so much. God, I would like to thank you for this opportunity,” she said. “And I would like to thank the cast and crew for the wonderful support and to my family and my team.”

The Florida Project was about a single mom, Halley, struggle to make ends meet to support her daughter, Moonee, who was played by Brooklynn.

“To all the Halley and Moonee’s out there… Guys, this is a real problem you need to go out and help,” she said.
